Protest Against Abolition of the NI Housing Executive

PROTEST AGAINST MINISTER McCAUSLAND’s ANNOUNCEMENT TO ABOLISH THE NIHE

Following the announcement  by the Minister on the abolition of the NIHE and the establishment of a New Regional Body and a separate landlord function, a series of protests will be held outside local NIHE offices at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday 15^th January 2013.

There will also be a protest against this announcement outside the Minister’s Office at the Lighthouse Building, Gasworks Site, 1 Cromac Place, Ormeau Road, Belfast at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday 15^th January 2013.

Please make every effort to attend one of the above protests and ensure there is a resounding message to the Minister and other political representatives that NIPSA will fight to protect our members and the retention of the NIHE.

 

NIPSA Broad Left is opposed to the Privatisation of Public Services and an increased burden on these most in need for Private Profit and would encourage as many members as possible to attend the protests.
